Returns and Exchanges
Online Return Policy
This online return policy applies exclusively to orders placed at modernica.pro and does not apply to orders placed through our showroom or any other retailer.
If you receive an item that has been damaged, please notify us immediately. Damaged items must be reported within 5 days of receipt to websupport@modernica.pro. Modernica’s return and replacement policies are void if damage is not reported within 5 days from receipt of goods. We will contact you with follow-up instructions and may require photos for further assessment or to file a claim. We will work with you to arrange a return, replacement, refund, or credit.
Please note that all sales are final on Vintage Vault, sale and clearance items, as well as items under our warranty policy.
Furniture is highly susceptible to damage in transit. We take care to pack shipments so they arrive safely, so please retain the original packing materials for any item you wish to return. You may need to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original shipment or if the packing materials have been discarded.
If you would like to return an item, please contact websupport@modernica.pro for approval. We will provide return instructions. A full refund, less shipping charges and return shipping costs, will be issued if the product(s) are returned in their original condition, in the original box, with all original packing materials, and within 30 days.
In circumstances where an item is approved for return after 30 days, a 25% re-stocking fee will be charged.
All international orders are responsible for the transit cost back to us, including any duty and taxes as implemented by the returning country’s policy. All international exchanges or returns will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Modernica’s return policy does not apply to Lief® mattress purchases or custom orders, both of which are considered non-refundable. Custom orders are not available for cancellation.

If you would like to request an exchange, please contact websupport@modernica.pro for approval. An exchange will be issued if the product(s) are returned in their original condition, in the original box, with all original packing materials, and within 30 days.

We strongly recommend using a return service that includes tracking and insurance, as Modernica cannot be liable for items lost or damaged in transit back to our facility. If you are exchanging an item for which you originally paid shipping, those shipping fees will not be refunded, nor will the transit cost incurred in returning the original purchase to Modernica. If the requested exchange item has shipping fees, you will be responsible for those as well.
